Being new in the Philippines, I wanted to know the places where I can unwind and have drinks.  Good cocktails are very hard to find but I took a chance on Jack’s Loft’s Zombie.  Zombie is rum and juice.  When mixed well, it tastes like superb fruit juice and before you know it, pow!  Knock out!  A pitcher costs 320php (about 5gbp) and fills up five scotch glasses.  They usually serve it with ice in the pitcher but I ask them to put it in a bucket instead because it ends up watering down the alcohol as it melts.  The food is good as well.  I had chicken fingers with honey mustard sauce for starters.  Then I had penne in tomato sauce which was also good.

They allow you to smoke inside the joint so that is a big plus.  On the second floor, they have one long couch at one corner which is good for six people.  Right next to it is a pair of comfortable armchairs with a center table.  There is also one corner that reminds me of a Persian shah’s festive lair.  There are two long couches and several throw pillows.  There is a long, low table that allows you to eat Japanese style.  The other tables that can accommodate up to four people are paired with two acrylic chairs with metal legs and a long bench.  They also have free wifi so you go online with your devices if you really have to.
